How to use Our Multiple Products Calculator

Purpose:
Calculate discounts and savings for multiple products simultaneously, managing various promotional offers across different items.

Steps to Use:

  1. Locate the Calculator:
    Navigate to the Multiple Products Calculator section on our website.
  2. Add Product Entries:
    • Action:
      • Add a Product: Click the “Add Another Product” button to create a new product entry.
      • Remove a Product: Click the “Remove” button on a product entry to delete it.
  3. Enter Product Details:
    For each product entry, provide the following information:
    • Price per Item ($):
      Field: Price per Item ($)
      Action: Input the cost of a single unit of the product.
    • Buy X:
      Field: Buy X
      Action: Enter the number of items a customer needs to purchase.
    • Get Y Free:
      Field: Get Y Free
      Action: Enter the number of free items a customer receives with the purchase.
    • Total Items:
      Field: Total Items
      Action: Input the total quantity of items a customer intends to buy.
  4. View the Results:
    • Click the “Calculate” button.
    • The calculator will display:
      • Detailed Table:
        • Lists each product with its respective details and calculations, including paid items, free items, total cost, and savings.
      • Aggregated Totals:
        • Total Savings: Combined savings from all products.
        • Total Cost: Combined cost from all products.
      • Pie Chart:
        • Visual representation of the distribution between total cost and total savings.

Example:
Suppose a customer wants to purchase two products:

  • Product 1:
    • Price per Item: $50
    • Buy X: 1
    • Get Y Free: 1
    • Total Items: 2
  • Product 2:
    • Price per Item: $30
    • Buy X: 2
    • Get Y Free: 1
    • Total Items: 5

Result:

  • Product 1:
    • Paid Items: 1
    • Free Items: 1
    • Total Cost: $50
    • Savings: $50
  • Product 2:
